SANCTUARY OF SAINT PAUL, MAKATI— In a Eucharistic Celebration, Frs. Leopoldo (Nonong) Botavara III, SSP; Dominador (Domie) Guzman, Jr., SSP, and Teotimo (Tim) Melliza, SSP celebrated the silver anniversary of their priesthood last June 15, 2013.
After the Gospel Reading of Fr. Nonong, Fr. Domie stressed in his homily the gift of their priestly vocation which is foremost from God and then from the church, the people of God, and which also has become their gift to others.
After the homily, the three jubilarians renewed their Pauline priestly vows before the Provincial Superior Fr. Jose Aripio, SSP. The Superior General Fr. Silvio Sassi, SSP and Bishop Teodoro Bacani, DD, who could not come to preside the celebration, sent congratulatory messages to the three celebrants.
Inviting everyone for a fellowship in behalf of the group, Fr. Tim, expressed acknowledgments to all who came and made the occasion a memorable one.
