Fr. Vincenzo Santarcangelo, Personal Delegate of the Superior General who organised the event, gratefully welcomed and guided the participants in the simple liturgy of the Word. The Message for the occasion of the Superior General, Fr. Silvio Sassi, was personally read by the Vicar General, Fr. Celso Godilano, in the presence of the ecclesiastical and civil authorities, the confreres and Sisters of the Pauline communities in theUK, the co-workers, friends and supporters of the Society of St. Paul. Msgr. John Arnold, Auxiliary Bishop ofWestminster and noted author for St Pauls Publishing, led the prayer and confirmed the presence and the validity of the Pauline apostolate through the means of social communication in theUKand in the world.

The happily attended and well appreciated celebration was capped with a “toast of a glass of wine” by all those present.
