The event took place in the presence of Rev Fr Michael Raj, the Provincial Superior of India Nigeria province, Very Rev Msgr Felix A. Adeigbo, Rector of CIWA, Fr Jose Mathew, Provincial Councillor and Superior of the community of Ibadan, Fr Thomas M Joseph, the Director of Formation, Fr Emmanuel Mundumoozhikkara, the person in-charge of new construction, Fr Siji Pannakathil, the Director of St Paul Book Centre, along with other priests, sisters and people of the campus. The bishop thanked the members of St Pauls for their active presence in the campus and congratulated them for their new project with his paternal blessings.

A meeting that was organized in the Parish hall after the blessing witnessed the signing of MOU pertaining to the new site and the construction. The signing of the documents by Rev Fr Provincial Superior, Rev Msgr Felix A. Adeigbo, Fr Jose Mathew and the registrar was witnessed by other members of the Society of St Paul and office bearers of CIWA (Catholic Institute of West Africa). The Rector of CIWA commented the good work carried out by the Paulines in the country and in the continent and assured whole-hearted support and encouragement from CIWA and diocese. Fr Provincial briefed our initial struggles, eventual growth and various initiatives undertaken by St Pauls in Nigeria, and thanked the Bishops, Monsignors and all the others for their continued support and encouragement. Well done dear brothers!
