Our ST PAULS collaborators had their annual Lenten recollection at St. Scholastica’s Retreat and Spirituality Center, Tagaytay City last March  –7 (Group 1) and March 12–13 (Group 2). The two day retreat was facilitated by the HR department together with Cl. Buen Andrew Cruz, SSP. This year’s invited guest speakers were Fr. Ramil Tapang, SSP and Fr. Dominador  Guzman, Jr. SSP.

Day 1: Fr. Ramil Tapang, SSP gave our collaborators a comprehensive review and enrichment of understanding Lent and the various practices observed during this season. He also highlighted the gift of encountering the Lord, taking risks and that of the call to Love. By way of introduction he also touched on the theme of the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons. In the evening, our collaborators watched a religiously inspired film: The Shack.

Day 2: Fr. Domie Guzman, Jr SSP highlighted the historical beginnings of the congregation and how the founder envisioned our apostolic endeavors would happen. He shared on various insights and his life’s vocation as he discovered his being a Pauline priest in the apostolate of Social Communications. He also challenged our collaborators on the importance of their role and what they do for the apostolate.

Filled with much gusto, our collaborators listened, reflected and prayed during these two days. They also joyfully took a “quiz” and interactively participated in the dance and song numbers prepared for them. It was a truly memorable, spiritual and meaningful Lenten retreat.
