The Video that you are about to see, “The Catholic Bookstore on the Road”, introduces us to one of the main apostolic activities of our Paulines confreres in the United States, the “Parish Book Exhibit”. In the style and example of St Paul the Apostle, our Patron and Model, the members go to where the people are. This is made possible by using the modern means of communication, through written and recorded materials, audio-video, Radio, TV programs and the digital means. Specifically, book exhibits are done because “if Catholics cannot find a Catholic bookstore, the Catholic bookstore goes to the people”.
Through the “Parish Book Exhibit” a lot of materials for “tots, teens and theologians” are made available for the continuing “education and deepening of the faith”. In fulfilling the mandate of Jesus Master – the Way, the Truth and the Life – to preach the Gospel to all, materials for children, lives of the Saints, Philosophy books, biblical studies and other materials are made available in parishes so that more and more people will be brought closer God.
