At 1 p.m. today (local time), 15 June 2012, the Divine Master has called to his eternal reward our brother Priest FR. ADÉRITO JOAQUÍM LOURENÇO LOURO, 79 years, 63 of Pauline life, 56 of religious profession, 49 of priesthood


Fr. Adérito was born on 12 December 1932 in Alcaria (Fundão, Portugal). He entered the Congregation set up in Portugal barely five years past, on 9 Decemebr 1948, in the community located at that time in Lumiar (Lisbon). He spent here the time of novitiate, at the end of which he made his first religious profession on 8 September 1955. After his studies in philosophy, in 1958 he left for Italy to study theology there at the Pauline International College in Rome. He made his perpetual profession here on 8 September 1960; after obtaining the baccalaureate at the Pontifical Lateran University, he was ordained priest by Mons. Ettore Cunial on 1 July 1962
